The smell is toasted and bready malt, has a mild nutty aroma, hints of hops.
The taste is toasty, bready, with some Hallertau hops peeking through, mostly in the finish.
Good mouthfeel, good Festbier.

2023 bottle shared by a friend. Thanks Zach! There are absolutely levels to this. So much perceived complexity in the malt bill on the nose and palate. Sorghum, molasses, coffee, dark chocolate brownies, bourbon, pepper, rye and vanilla all shine. Stellar beer with stellar peoples. Thanks Z!

Draft at SG Nations. Pours a deep brown to black with little to no head. Lots of maple and bourbon on the nose with with dark chocolate, milk chocolate and notes of vanilla. More maple and vanilla on the palate with chocolate lingering as well. Very nice.

Draft at SG Nations. Pours a deep brown to black with no head. Chocolate covered banana and strawberry on the nose. Palate shows the same with some vanilla as it warms. Sweet, but not cloyingly so. Very enjoyable!

Draft at SG Nations. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely pineapple and citrus aromas on the nose. Palate is similar with notes of crushed pineapple, papaya, mango and tangerine. Balanced finish with nice bitterness to balance out the juice.
