Deep hazy copper and honey coloured body with a glow of bronze and orange tint, all with a nice one to two centimetre tal off-white head. Aroma of pungent hops with a grassy and herbal kick, showing some citrus, grapefruit, pine and hay notes with a definite dry flavour at first then showing some nice, hybrid hops with some fruitiness at the end. Aftertaste shows the grass, dry hay and herbal elements and finishing with a lemon and grapefruit citrus quality that dominates at the very end and only shows a touch of sweetness at all. Overall, a decently nice IPA with a more East Coast and citrusey characteristic showing the oranges, grapefruits and hay flavours, all while keeping a nice balance of malt throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 05-September-2017 for US$5,00 sampled at the end of my driveway!

Draft at Vanish. Poured a slightly hazy dark yellow color with a small wispy white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, very mild floral notes. Light grain. Flavor was light grain, light banana, light sweetness. This has more alcohol than the table beer, but that one is better all around.

Full draft pour split with my wife. Poured a semi-translucent purple color with a small pink head. Aroma was light blackberries. Light tartness. Light sweetness. Salty sea breeze sweeps through this one. Not too bad.

Pint pour at Vanish, split among friends. Poured a slightly hazy yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma is a blast of Chardonnay. Light peppery notes, but the barrel really dominates this one. Its not hot though - lots of boozy character to it - very warming, but pretty smooth in my opinion. Woody vanilla is in the finish. A pretty bold beer for a Saison though...
