The aroma was citrus, perfume and lemon. The flavor was tart, bitter, perfumey and citric. Long finish with lingering perfume and citrus. Medium body. Solid.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A big spicy clear pepper nose- that’s one hell of a big fruity peppery nose. The flavor is certainly dominated by peppers, heat in the back of your throat, it is pretty intense but drinkable. Solid brew.

On tap at the brewery. Lovely beer. Pours a dark almost pure black color with a large beige head. A big sweet nose, coffee, lactose. The flavor is big sugary sweet malts, toffee, light roast, chocolates, some milky creamy notes. Very good. Too easy for me to love this type of beer when done well.

Bottle. Hazy brown with reddish tint, small frothy beige head, caramel aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet caramel taste with whisky undertones, long finish with bourbon aftertaste. The whisky taste is a bit too strong.
