Draft at the brewery. Golden yellow pour with a finger of lingering white head. Light citrus fruit aroma, a little sweet. Tastes clean and crisp; citrus and tropical fruits, a little bit of grass. Light, but well developed flavor.

Draft at the brewery, pours a deep amber orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is mild enough, subtle citrus and a little dank. In the flavor it’s evident that a ton of hops went into this... citrus and floral. Modest malt base and a touch of heat. Not very bitter for the IBU count. I wanted to like this more, love the name, but it just misses out when it comes down to depth of flavor.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Medium golden, small frothy head, lazy carbonation, clumpy lacing. Light citrus hops on the nose. Taste also focuses on the hops, pretty crisp, like a hoppy pils. Plenty of malt flavor too, well crafted, and tasty.

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Bright amber, orange tinges, minimal bubbly head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is same, pure and simple. Yet it holds the ABV well, pretty gentle, slick. Heat sits way in the background. Really solid Doppelbock.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Dark amber, clear, nice fluffy head which fades to skin. Aroma is malty, very malty. Bread, caramel, toffee all comes through very clearly. Taste is also malty, big in your face maltiness, mild sweetness. A bit of bitterness comes in at the back to add some bite. Wonderful aroma and tasty.
