On Tap at the Boise Brewpub Dark brown with a small light tan head. Modest dark roast aromas and flavors. Not as dark or bitter as most of the style, but pleasant, .

A lot different from my first taste on this one. I wasn’t getting the usually creamy mouth feel on this one, tended to be drier than usual, and had a metallic finish.

A bit sweeter than the German style, but still very good. Some molasses sweetened compliments the dark grain body, dark brown, almost black body, mildly sweet aroma. Taste is roast dark grains with a little brown sugar sweetness. Overall lager weight and mouthfeel.

Nice. High ABV not evident in this smooth but bitter beer. Dark brown/ruby body with small soapy head. Soapy/pine /citrusy hops, dry chalky finish. Lovely stuff

Clear medium redish amber. Huge tick dense light tan head. Big resinous piney aroma. Thick sticky body, heavy with residual sugars, but bitter and lots of pine and pithy hop flavors. Concentrated and obnoxious. A little woody at the end. And finishes nice w/o being overly sweet. A balanced but very big Doub...er.. Triple IPA. Bordering on Barley Wine territory Soft carbonation, maybe blown out at the tap with that huge foamy head.

A good Vienna, hits all the right notes. Nice amber color with small foamy head. Aroma is all malt, taste brings on a little molasses sweetness, but malt still is predominant flavor. Slick, medium weight body. A bit heftier than your normal lager, but just as refreshing.

Nice crisp pilsener, tons of hops but still faithful to the Euro originals. Clear and crisp, sweet malt in the aroma, hops come into play in the taste. Normal pils appearance, extra hops on the finish.
