Damn! This is the tallest can I’ve seen! 568ml so a UK pint. Strangely though the rest of their beers seem to be sold in US pint can sizes. Stickmen F-Bomb IPA 7% Amber orange with a thick light beige head and fairly full body. Classic west coast IPA aroma and flavor of citrus and pine with a supporting malt character. Really well done.

New Year’s sales mean I get to finally have some of the more recently imported breweries. Stickmen Paddle 5.2% Dry-hopped Pale Ale Hazier than the hazy beers I’ve had lately. It’s deep gold with a tangy fruity aroma. Medium bodied and semi-sweet. Very tangy fruit notes that verge on a sour beer are taking me by surprise. Overall an interesting and tasty brew. Label says brewed with cascade, centennial and mosaic hops so is this the same beer?

16 ounce can. Pours a mostly clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light fruity nose. A soft bready base, light lemons, mango, husky finish. Solid. Something light and sweet in the finish, caramel maybe.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Dark brown colour, close to black. In the aroma, chocolate and some rancid pork. Good body strength, moderately sweet but balanced by the roasted malt, a lot of butterscotch.
Not very refined, but good.

Ok so that smells like butter. Dark brown. On the palate, maybe peanut brittle, but fuck man how much diacetyl can a beer have? This is an intense and dominant butter character. I am trying not to hate this, but not succeeding.

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown / blac with a small tan head. Aroma is full of butterscotch, caramel, and a little coconut. Flavour is full of butterscotch upfront, with cloyingly sweet caramel, brown sugar, and a little coconut. Cloyingly sweet, too much butterscotch. Hardly palatable.
