Quite interesting. I think this really works here. Cucumber meahes well with bubblegum and hay type saison elements. Golden pour with ok head and lacing. Light tabgy finish with hint of cucumber coolness. Tap at brewery.

Sample at Industry Night at HomeBrewCon. Light pale yellow with a smallish white head. Bready maltiness with a distinct rye spice about it. Minty earthy floral hops. Not bad.

22oz bottle pours an inky black with some thin, white head. Nose is OK, there’s vanilla there but plenty of molasses too, roast, a little cheap chocolate syrup. Smells a little adjunct-y. Flavor is OK, a little faux, some molasses and licorice, vanilla is lighter, chocolate, some nougat, everything is just a bit weak. Finishes dry.

Draft. Hazy to cloudy yellow color, thick white head. Aroma of earthy lemon lime. Taste is refreshingly tart citrus. Very tasty.

16 oz pour on draft at Caboose. Clear dark golden orange with about a finger of beige head. Aromas of malt, light citrus, a little biscuit. Tastes of wheat, light citrus, toast, malt, a little rye spice. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Solid common lager.

At the source: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is a hint of smoke, chocolate, and maybe some cafe. Taste is chewy chocolate and burnt malt. Lingering dark chocolate aftertaste. Noce medium body. Good.
