For this “666” rating, this is the most “evil” beer I have. This is, at the moment, rating #18666. Super evil because 18 = 6x6x6. 12 ounce can from Total Wine Brookfield, 10/15/21. Dark reddish brown, brown head, good retention. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast, hint of leather. Taste is roast, dark chocolate. A bit thin for the style. Some lingering bitterness. Overall it’s pretty nice. (Actually, I had a few beers in the backlog I'd ticked before, so this is really 18663).

Tap at Next Door. Simplistic, decent backdrop, but the hops are kind of boring and don't go anywhere. Semi-bitter, almost dry. Pleasant enough for an APA or a Bitter, but not an impressive IPA. Straightforward, uninspired, and forgettable.

12oz can. Unfiltered orange-brown body. Foamy, glass lacing, off-white head. The aroma is wholly unimpressive for an IPA of any sorts. Caramel malt, some earthy old school hop tones. At 8.5% it remains drinkable, though you know it is strong. Really antiquated brewing. Not that impressive at all. Not off per se, just not that good.

12oz can. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Thin, steady off-white head. Rather straightforward, classical APA. Might utilize a little Mosaic but tastes like a beer from the early 2000s overall. Not bad, just wholly unimpressive for 2019.

Sampled from the cask at GTMW 2018. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of passionfruit and guava with slight wheat and citrus underlying. Flavor starts with wheat but is quickly joined by citrus and tropical fruits.

Kind of an odd duck, a hoppy pilsner that on one hand seems full-bodied yet on the other hand seems a little watery. I can taste all the separate components but they somehow don't seem to all work together. I pick up the Hop flavor and lots of bitterness there is some malt sweetness and the Carbonic Tang but they just don't all work synergistically.
