Pint can. Very dark brown pour with a thick, but short lived brown head. Aroma is heavy roast and dark chocolate. A little nutty. Tastes roasty and toasty with a little dark chocolate bittersweet note. Lingering roast finish. A little thin on the body, but overall pretty good.

Tap. Pousr hazy hazel, large creamy beige head, dissipates slowly, great lacing. Aroma is malty, roast, hints of rubber and pine. Flavor is medium sweet, quite bitter, dark bread, tobacco, molasses. Fullish body.

Tap. Pours hazy pale golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is oak tannin, vinous notes, a touch of earthy funk. Flavor is very light tart, light funk, vinous and earthy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pleasant and enjoyable.

Can from Dart at Stateline, NV. Pours very pale gold with a white head. Aroma is sort of earthy fruit. Not quite med body. Flavor is earthy, fruit with yeast and mild spice. Probably quite close to the traditional simple saisons of yesteryear. Like I’d know that. :)

Can from Dart at Stateline, NV. Pours dark gold with an off-white head. Aroma of light toasted malt with citrus/pine notes. Med body or nearly. Flavor is light citrus/pine/toasty caramel. It’s nice and the hop builds into the decently bitter finish.
