Can from Føtex @ Home. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, grain, light fruity hops. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, light fruit. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 210922

dark brown, light brown head. lots of roasted malts in the aroma, raisins, rum, faint cocnut (not sweet) faint vanilla, faint coffee. flavor is roasted malts, dry roasted malts, only very faint charchoal notes, very soft, still quite dry. super nice, stron log lasting aftertaste. some nuances and details to keep you occupied. I would not call this the typical flavored / pastry stout, all they seem to have added is raisins and rum. also tastes a lot more than a normal imperial stout than a typical pastry stout. The rum and the raisins are really well dosed, not too much, the malts still have plenty of room to shine, but the two other things add depth and character.

Hazy yellow small yellow head. Grassy bitter wheaty flavor is bitter wheaty faint very ripe not sweet banana

Hazy IPA by a locally popular brewery in northern Copenhagen, from tap at the Seaside Toldboden bar on a beautiful afternoon, shortly after visiting the famous mermaid statue… Thin and open, snow white, somewhat edge-retaining but generally unstable head over a hazy peach blonde beer with rosy and beige tinges. Aroma of orange flesh, pomelo, grapefruit juice, a whiff of mango, freshly cut red apples, apricot jam, lime zest, hint of old dry biscuit. Sweetish and sourish onset, very juicy and fruity, hinting at mango, lime, green melon and yuzu and really tasting like some fruit juice cocktail – a basket of ripe fruit, fizzily carbonated (too much so for the intended style perhaps but quite refreshing on a hot day) with supple, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Slender Betterfood- and biscuit dough-like maltiness soaked in persisting fruity juiciness of yellow fruit, from guava and mango to green melon and apricot, remaining low in bitterness; a very citric sourish streak keeps things fresh and radiant till the end. This is NEIPA trying to evoke fruit juice, like so many these days, but its lack of sugary sweetness truly saved it for me – I enjoyed this quite a lot, actually. Nice encounter with a brewery I had not yet tasted anything of.

Bottle @ home. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, dried fruit, licorice. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, roast malt, licorice, dried fruit. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 110822

Bottle. Almost perfectlyy clear golden, smaller white head, ok lasting. Mild fruity, flowery, elderflower nose, hints of spiciness in the end. Medium bitterness, slight sweetness, very gentle. A bit grassy in the finish and aftertaste, lasting, slightly herbal. Light body. Decent.

0.33 l can from 'LIDL' (Ringkøbing), best before January 2023. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, slightly grassy aroma of mango, passion fruit and a touch of grains with light straw. Moderately sweet, gently bitter, quite fruity-floral, slightly resiny and moderately grassy taste of grains, straw, mango and orange, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Brooklyn Lager copy (kind of).

Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hopppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Sweetish, quite fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, elderflower obviously, pineapple and some mango. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral taste of elderflower, orange, peach, mango and traces of grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice one, drinks super easily, very well-balanced.
