Draught @brewpub, tasted side by side new one and 2 yrs old @RBESG
Hazy nut brown,. Old one has created enourmous barley wine nose: barley, molasses, candy and licorice. Noew one is alcoholicand unfinished. 2 yrs old is rounded, malty with licorice. World class barley wine when aged. (8/4/9/4/16 4.1) Bottled, 2 years old vintage 2006< /br> Dark ruby color, mostly vanishing head. Nose has plum, toffee and date. Sweet, powerful, same kind of chewie maltyness like in NBE, some licorice and hops. It is good. (8/4/8/4/16 4.0)

Draught @RBESG at brewpub
Extreme version of this extreme beer. Copper brown, big brownish head. Thick flowery hoppy nose. Full-bodied, even liquerish, Hoppy to extreme, but then even caramelly. Nice extreme experience. (7/5/8/4/16 4.0)
Re-rated, bottled, alc. 9.5% (tapped 180907)
Dark amber color, small white head, which disappeared totally after 5 minutes. Strong bready-hoppy aroma. Full-bodied. Balanced sweet hoppyness with extended pinewoody and resiny aftertaste. Very warming aftertaste. Tasty, but complex this is not. (7/4/8/4/16 3.9)

The newest intensionaly sour version brewed by Shaun Hill: A hazy red-amber beer with a medium pinkish beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of raspberries as well as a light tartness, light notes of wheat and spices. The flavor is sweet with tart notes of raspberries, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is a bit thin. The score is on this version.

The original, unintensionaly sour version. An unclear orange-red leaning towards pink beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet and really wheaty, combined with lesser notes of fruit - can’t really tell the raspberries in the aroma. But in the flavor the raspberries are very evident on a sweet wheaty background. Fine for the style - it is just not my style, which shows in the rating. [5/2/5/3/10=2.5]

Chestnut colour, creamy tanned head. Grassy piney and citric aroma. Extreme dry puckering bitterness balanced by a nice fruity body. Brilliant IIPA.

Draught, poured into my glass from a plastic cup. Grainy aroma. Golden colour. Looks flat, but with a big, nice, creamy head. Flavour is a little sweet, slight hint of honey. A little flat (get your draught system sorted!) Mouthfeel is creamy, though. Easily drinkable.

Draught. Clovy, citric, old softener/skyllemiddel aroma. Hint of yoghurt. Unclear yellow colour. Spicy yoghurt flavour, a little watery. Aftertaste like cheap lager. Carbonation is too low (this was poured from a plastic cup into my glass due to problems with the draught system).

[At Københavnske Øldage] A light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of honey, but also some spicyness. The flavor is dry malty, somewhat sweet, and with primary notes of honey. A quite simple beer. I’m not impressed.

Sweet, roasted aroma with a hint of swet liquorice. Almost black colour, with a reddish shine. Nicely mild, roasted, caramelly flavour. Very nice.
