Bottle. Pours a shoe leather brown color with a small beige head. Soft aroma, true to the style.. malty, breads, toast, some caramel, and nutty. Coffee comes forward in the flavor with more toasted malts and minimal vanilla sweetness. Light bodied, easily drinkable.

On nitro tap at prefunk Boise. Pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice light pineapple coconut mix and some sweetness. Taste is more of the nice pina Coloda pineapple coconut combo.

Can from Brennan’s Brookfield. Holy infection, Batman! Gusher. Pours mostly a large, dense foamy head that eventually settles dark brown. Aroma of roast, plastic and bandaids. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, smoke, cherries. Medium bodied. A shame, seems like it was quite good.

On tap at the taproom hazy dull pale golden with a thin wispy white head. Some cucumber in the aroma and lots more in the flavor. Not very tart. Some saison farmhouse character. 1000th Idaho rating

On tap at the taproom. Slightly hazy light reddish amber with a thin tight light beige head. Faint light toasted malt aromas. Nice vanilla flavors and subtle coffee character. Smooth and subtle. Quite nice

22oz bottle thanks to Matt. Pours out a rusty nail color topped with a sand head. Nose is vanilla chocolate sweetness grain. Taste is more of the nice vanilla chocolate and some malt.

On Tap Black pour and a thick lasting tan head. Huge soft roast and chocolate aroma and flavor. Pistachio is I guess what that other flavor is, and just a touch of mint. Glad that part is not over done. HAs a feel of unfiltered and muddy, and later the bitterness comes in...and it is a little minty. Very interesting, Somewhat of a gimmick, but it works.
