“Infused with tea” but it doesn’t mention what kind of tea. Tea is tea? Typical America. Anyway, quite good, surprisingly boozy. There’s a gin-barrel version that actually seems like it’d be perfect. Wanna try it.

Nitro pour at the brewery. Thick, steady, beige head. Opaque brown-black body. Chocolate coffee dessert aroma, kind of nice. Takes Cream Stout in a different direction, but it works. Sweet and easy, the ingredients meld together well.

SMASH. Suspect malts. Weak hops. Doesn't really nail it at all. Reminds me a lot of beer in the UK. Grassy, resinous, almost a rye tone at times. Fishy, oily, earthy. Not at all impressive. Generous score..

Didn’t realize red ales were so prominent here

On tap rating from the Ale House somewhere deep in the backlog. Hello 2022? Pours a filtered looking orange tan until the bottom tenth of the bottle yeasts it out not unlike a hefeweizen. Reasonable enough, not exactly on the same level as the big boys, but at $7.49 a sixpack it is pretty decent. Kind of an amateur version of the style, but OK.

Nitro pint can from Woodman's Appleton, Pot Luck Pack, 3/3/20. Dark brown, thin creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, oats, nuts, molasses, a hint of dark fruits. Taste is roast, oats, nuts, dark fruit, cocoa. Medium bodied, well balanced. Nice beer.

16 ounce can, 1/4/20. Murky orange, thin fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, grapefruit, tropical, pale malt. Taste is lime, grapefruit, pale malt, and a tropical fruit note I can't quite place. Thin, juicy. Strong lingering bitterness, much more so than typical for the style.

Bottle thanks to Drake! Slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is blueberry, black tea... that's about it, but it's really nice. Flavor is blueberry, black tea, hibiscus, light grasses. This is quite enjoyable.

12oz bottle. Surprised to see that this was 8%, as it drinks quite smooth and easy, more along the lines of 6% or so. Pleasant balance, lots of depth. Classical Winter Warmer, fleshed out by the wheat and oat flakes. Good.
