This is one of their better beers. Pretty good example of the style except for a little bit more bitter in the Finish than usual. I would definitely have another.

The Aromas are dark malt, toffee, minerals, tree bark and a little fruit. Flavors are simpler malty starting sweet going bitter with good carbonation and slightly soft body. Finish is slightly bitter and astringent. Okay beer.

The mild Aromas are fresh coffee, dark malt and a little cocoa. Very little Nitro effect. Flavors are Like Nose, soft carbonation sweet up front with some chalkiness and a little bitter. Okay body and decent finish. Drinkable beer, but not something I'd go out of my way for.

Tap at MAH. Hazy fruited IPA...at least that is what the menu says. Thick orange body. Thin off-white head. A lot going on, but fruit is sort of murky, I get more hops...but they aren't so pronounced either. You could call it balanced I guess, has a nice orange-tangerine thing going on more than passionfruit. A little rindy, not a good fruit beer or hazy IPA, but somehow still an OK IPA.

Keg at the Ale House. Slightly hazy amber, large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of spice, yeast, dry apricot. Taste is apricot, lemon, spice, yeast, apple. Medium bodied lingering spice.
