12 ounce bottle, 7/23/19. Hazy gold, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grainy malt, green hops. Taste is green, herbal hops, fresh grain, lemon. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness. I like it, but most won't.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Fresh Thyme, Milwaukee. Appearance is lightly hazy orange-yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is pine, dank herbal/citrus over bready malt backbone. Taste is initial fruit (pear?) followed by pine and dank bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, enjoyed this more than I thought I would based on other review scores. The fruity taste was a welcome surprise from the aroma and this IPA is a nice change of pace from the NEIPA's or west coast bitters I've been having lately.

Keg at the 9th Street location, 1/20/19. Dark brown, thin creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of coconut, roast, cinnamon, and a cleaning agent which seems like it comes from a poorly rinsed glass. Taste is coconut, vanilla, roast, chocolate, granola. Medium bodied, slick, hot.

Aroma of juniper, toffee, roast, spruce. Taste is pine, spruce, juniper, toffee. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.
