I don't think it was double fermented. It does have the trademark Belgian yeast aroma and malt profile. Bittersweet with a little more sweet than bitter. Nothing too distinctive though. Serviceable.

Tap at MAH. Filtered orange-copper body. Foamy white head. Real classic look. Kind of bland, watery. Needs more malt and hop depth, but very approachable and sessionable which I suppose was the goal. Watered down, faint malt tones. Nice lagering still. Simple. OK.

Tap at MAH. Slightly hazy orange-tan body. Thin, white head. Creamy, medium bodied. Well executed, there is a lot of balanced depth. Not too sweet or desserty. Really good. Nails it.

Lots of spice in this beer. I get cinnamon and clove, and it is surprisingly sweet. It is strong and alcohol is noticeable. noting picking up the gin at all.

Sweet. But also strong dry punch forward of gin. But that follows up with a sweet green tea canopy of rest and relaxation. Here to take you home to the final sleep. Bumping this up for style points 😏

Keg at Whole Foods Wauwatosa. Dark brown, red highlights, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of mint, roast, chocolate. Taste in mint, roast, chocolate. Thin, oily. Meh.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 8/23/2017. Pours slightly hazy dark reddish brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, clove, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes; with light notes of coffee, smoke, herbal, dark fruit, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, spices, pumpkin, sweet potato, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with great strength. Fairly strong on spice aromas, but not overpowering to the malt profile. Taste of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, clove, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes; with light notes of coffee, smoke, herbal, dark fruit, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/roast bitterness and pie spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, clove, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, light coffee/smoke, herbal, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, spices, pumpkin, sweet potato, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. A touch on the thin side, but still nice. Zero warming alcohol for 5.6%. Overall this is a delicious pumpkin porter. All around nice omplexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, spices, pumpkin, sweet potato, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy finish. Really well balanced porter malt complexity, spices, and pumpkin/potato flavors. Nothing overwhelming or feels out of place. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Aroma is fairly decent fresh Hops and a little bit of malt. Likewise with appearance foamy frothy off Whitehead with plenty of lace that slowly subsides. Flavor is where it goes off the rails I Taste putrid fruit and excessive bitterness that is the whole thing is just not too Pleasant to drink I can finish it but just barely.

Refreshing saison, tons of light notes but thick and flavorful, lots of citrus.

12 ounce bottle from Sendik's Marquette. Hazy amber, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, white grape, papaya, pale malt. The taste is lemon, mango, grapefruit, lychee, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, well balanced. Solid. I don't know if MKE brewing has stepped it up over the last 18 months or they're just chronically under-rated.
