Aroma has notes of whiskey and earthy dark grains with a bit of tart dark red fruit. Flavor combines earthy dark grains and tart red fruits with a hint of oak and whiskey underlying.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a creamy brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma is full of dark grains with some chocolate and a bit of dry roast underlying. Flavor has sweet chocolate with dark grains and a dry roasted finish.

Aroma is full of coffee with a good amount of dark grains and roasted malts supporting. Flavor has an interesting combination of earthy dark grains and coffee with a surprising toffee note.
