Description
Musa is a beer for folks who think “I really feel like having a beer” made by folks who think “I really feel like brewing beer”. We used recipes from the olden days and traditional craftsman methods to create a revolutionary beer. So revolutionary it should wear a beret instead of a cap.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L70A05 (BBF FEV 19). AROMA: medium-high hop aroma with citrus notes (grapefruit, lime, slight fresh grassiness), with a low neutral malt background with a subtle swetness. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium hop flavor (grapefruit, grassy, slight floral), followed by a malt background that is neutral with a tad sweetness. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice and fresh APA with a characterful hop presence.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L46B12 (BBF DEZ.19). AROMA: medium fruit-like aroma with notes of red fruits, followed by a low background of roasted malt (coffee-like). faint nuttyness and slight alcohol. APPEARANCE: very dark brown body with ruby highlights. clear. medium-low light brown head with medium retention. leg formation. TASTE: initial low fruit-like note (blackcurrant), followed by a medium roasted malt character (dark chocolate). slight nuttyness. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry, roasty and bitter finish. PALATE: full body with low carbonation. silky on the palate. very smooth alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a good imperial stout with less roastiness on the aroma and with an interesting fruity presence.

bottle from booze shop in portimao. hazy brown, sooth light brown head. Really really nice solid ipa aroma, sweet malty, bitter pine and flowery hops, honey. flavor is malty, good bitter hoppy balance,slightly mineral watery, a very decent ipa. very dry.

bottle from wine shop in portimao. aroma : roasted malts, slightly sweet almost lacto sweetness. flavor is roasted malts, charchoal, coffe grind. lots of flavor for a 5.5% abv. quite dry, almost citrussy at times.

bottle from wine shop in portimao. flavor is somewhat hoppy, bitter malty, somewhat flowery, aroma is much like a pilsener, but a little bit more flowery hoppy. very nice lager.

30/5/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours orange gold with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of grain, hops, sweet fruit, a little marzipan, malt, caramel and straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Decent lager.

On tap. Golden colour, small head, pretty lacing. Aroma is mostly malt. Light bitterness. I won't call it hoppy! Medium carbonation. Decent.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L45C11 (JUN.18). AROMA: medium caramel-like malt aroma with slight notes of toast and esters (banana/apple), followed by almost solventy character if the beer is swirled. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and clear. no head. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low malt flavor (toasted and slight toffee), medium-low esters (banana and roasted apple-.like). medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with very low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok dubbel but where the lack of carbonation affects the perception of body.

6 3 6 3 13 Bottle shared At Murphy’s Law, thanks! Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of light roast, oats, light veggies. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
