Description
Musa is a beer for folks who think “I really feel like having a beer” made by folks who think “I really feel like brewing beer”. We used recipes from the olden days and traditional craftsman methods to create a revolutionary beer. So revolutionary it should wear a beret instead of a cap.

30/5/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours orange gold with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of grain, hops, sweet fruit, a little marzipan, malt, caramel and straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Decent lager.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L45C11 (JUN.18). AROMA: medium caramel-like malt aroma with slight notes of toast and esters (banana/apple), followed by almost solventy character if the beer is swirled. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and clear. no head. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low malt flavor (toasted and slight toffee), medium-low esters (banana and roasted apple-.like). medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with very low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok dubbel but where the lack of carbonation affects the perception of body.
