Pour is a murky river water brown with almost no head. Aroma is cinnamon but a bit muted vs. other winter spiced ales I've had recently. Flavor is again everything muted. Some cinnamon and cherry with a bitterness but not as intense as other spiced beers. If you are going to make a spiced ale, you better spice the hell out of it.
