Dark brown, no head. Has a lot of barrel, vanilla, touch of milk chocolate, sweet and balanced, vanilla, a lot of woody dryness, assertive but balanced. Great bocky malt complexity but the barrel adds a lot.

Light brown and all kinds of muddy. Aroma is very citrusy and with simcoe more than anything else, or so I think. Sweetish character with almost a liqeur-like citrusy sweetness. Ok but unrefined.

Dark brown, nitro head. Chocolately character, very sweet up front but with a touch of balancing hop. Ok, but there are more complex examples in AK.

Muddy. Aroma is very bright, especially with amarillo. A lot of amarillo, touch of mandarin simcoe, the malts are pale and light but muddied by too much yeast.

Dull tan with no head. Spruce and yeasty aroma. Fruity from the spruce, muddled somewhat by the yeast.

Muddy dull tan. Light esters on the nose. Sweet and with some tartness and berries in the finish. Ok balance but the malts don’t really pop.
