12oz bottle. Unfiltered orange-tan. Frothy, fading off-white head. Medium bodied, mediocre beer. Not bad, but a little amateurish, unrefined, brewpub feel. Sort of like a thicker, weighed down version of something once-bohemian. Not bad, I could session on this, just wouldn’t buy it again.

12oz bottle with no date but purchased at Trader Joe’s, so hopefully pretty fresh. Pours with a medium sized head into an old school Hoegaarden tulip glass. Head fades to a thick tan surface covering lacing. Color is a beautiful dark ruby chestnut. Aroma first presents the ancho chile but without the burn, actual just a dry pepper aroma. Its not strong, just moderate and the first element to present itself. Behind that is just a great clean beer with soft caramel malt sweetness (not sugar). Earthy, clean, and sweet - almost perfect. Nice medium light but felt body with a perfectly melded carbonation. Flavor seems to lose all pepper and ends up with the clean sweet and earthy character. Pretty wonderful as well. Just a damn well made beer with a bit of ancho character on the nose.

No lacing, no nothing left over. Makes me think there is way too many nontraditional ingredients in this brew. Color is dull golden, its completely murky. Lots of bubbles shooting up to the surfaces, looks like tiny mosquitoes hitting a lake on a hot summer’s day. Pretty whack looking actually. Now, the beer is super cool and novel. Simple puts its a limeade/beer mix. one could look at that as a good thing or a bad thing. I really like it. Aroma is full of fresh limes, citric, fresh, and lively. Maybe some coriander. Flavor is similar but a sweet, not well attenuated beer. However, a great tart and refreshing lime aftertaste. Cool stuff. I like it, this is way better than any radler, all radlers should be this.

12oz bottle. Amber-brown body, respectable beige head. Big fruity ancho pepper aroma, coupled with some mild caramel chocolate. An interesting enough beer, sort of a Schwarz with some mild pepper tones. Not really balanced though, kind of a mess. Worthy of a tick, but probably not one to seek out.

Draft. Probably my least favorite of the 5 rabbit beers. Just kinda boring. Its like a dark version of your standard pale lager. The chilis dont really come out to play at all. Meh.

Cask. Sampled side by side with the regular. Pours a cloudy dark copper with a finger of frothy head. Aroma of orange blossom and chamomile. Taste is light tart. The orange blosso. Is very prominent and the chamomile comes through at the end. Light bodied with a slightly slick texture. Soft carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, awesome. The additions make this completely different from the regular 5 grass.

Draft. Pours a clear copper with a finger of white head. Aroma of grass and light citrus. Taste is light bitter. Grass and light orange citrus. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, awesome. Great summer beer.

Sample at the Aficionado’s "Hidden Gems" beer tasting on 05/24/2013: Pours a hazy rosy-golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits, spices and malt. Medium to full body with a floral and herbal character and flavors of fruity yeast, malt and citrus. The finish is sweet with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.
