Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a light to hazy red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing was somewhat spotty and didn’t arrange itself in any sort of fashion - it just was all over the place in its lacing.
The smell had mainly a malty kind of sweet to roasty/earthy bittered but tangy citrus hops.
The taste was mainly sweet through the earthy maltiness. A more pronounced caramel maltiness comes out in the taste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was right on par, as it wasn’t too sharp nor smooth - it seemed just right.
Overall, good red ale worthy of having again.
