Bomber from a local grocery. Pours dark brown with a fairly dark tan head. Aroma of warm sweet treacle - light treacle. Med body or a bit better. The flavor is really like Kraft caramels. The heat burns lightly. There are notes of what may be chocolate and/or coffee. It’s somewhat bitter, and it’s drier than expected. Very decent drink.

Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, some lacing. Aroma is hella grapefruit juice. Disks is light plus sweet, light bitter. Grapefruit bomb. Medium body. Ok, this is starting to work...

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma suggests mixed tropical fruit. Med body at least. Flavor is mixed light fruits, citrus, maybe lime, maybe pineapple. Seems like it wants to be dank. Malt is hardly noticeable for me. Pretty dry. Definitely bitter. Really good stuff.

This beer pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Grapefruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is fruity with a grapefruit juice and hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at Craft Tap House. This brew pours a clear orange color with a medium white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours kind of redberry tinged copper with a white head. Sweetish fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is towards sort of dank with berry fruit. Tho for me the berry has a strawberry note. It’s not very bitter, and just a bit berry. Forget what it’s supposed to be. It’s rather flavorful and drinks a bit dank and astringent. Off the beaten path.

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate and vanilla. Quite nice. Med body or better. Flavor is slightly earthy chocolate with vanilla. Don’t think there’s coffee. Pretty tasty - rather dry and chocolate bitter.

Tap at River City Brewing in Carmichael, CA. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Firm strawberry aroma. Med body. Flavor is strawberry with wheat and seemingly bready malt. Fairly dry, mildly bitter. Refreshing.
