Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours hazy copper/amber with a slight foamy beige head. Roasty malt aroma. Med body. Flavor is fruity hop over roasty malt. I’ll agree it fits the style. Nice to drink.

Tap at Dad’s Kitchen in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown/black with qa creamy beige/tan head. Med body. Flavor is dark malt with a little hop. Some chocolate. Maybe a hint of coffee. Nice.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark brown with orange glints and a tan head. Aroma is rather chocolate. Med body or slightly better. Flavor is chocolate with a touch of bitter hop. Maybe the burnt malt is too smooth - oatmeal? Finalizing on bitter chocolate. Maybe a touch of milkiness. Takes awhile to get wood, but it comes forth.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a white head. Light stone fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is very hoppy - mostly light stone fruit. Could be citrus and floral - it’s very nicely bitter. Just excellent.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is floral over light breadiness. Med body (lots of carb helping there). Flavor is bready with lots of bitter on tongue edges. Not harsh, but pretty firm. Still think there’s lots of floral, but I’m wondering about citrus as well. Pretty tasty. Does thin a bit as the carb leaves.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a creamy beige head. Rather fruity aroma. Med + body. Flavor is slightly roasty malt with a lot of hop. Hop seems mostly floral, but citrus and then resin see probable. Mild hop burn. Malt seems to have wandered off. Finishes very nicely bitter. Excellent!
