First of all the beer that I'm having is kind of old from last year so I'm going to give him benefit of the doubt here. And it still isn't too bad. Plenty of hop to stand up to the rich malt. Hop is the resiny type. Darker to reddish malts. Thick creamy long lasting head, with lots of lace. Good finish.

750 mL bottle, from TheHoff43, finally shared. Pours an unclear, dirty red color. Small, tan head. Lots of berry on the nose, leaning more towards raspberry, but it’s hard to distinguish them. Some notes of butterscotch, cloves, and syrup. Sweet and very fruity, with a nice, mellow tangy finish. Light to medium body, crisp, acidic, and sticky. This is a fun, cobbler-esque, and delicious beer. Several years old, but it seems to have held up pretty well!
