Draft at Monk’s. Hazy to cloudy golden color. Aroma of light lemon bubblegum. Taste has lightly sour citrus. Decent.

Winterfest 2015. Typical Kolsch. Light grain and malt flavor, but no depth or complexity, which is what I expect from a kolsch.

Winterfest 2015. My first beer from this brewery, and they nailed it. Banana, wheat, some clove. Sweet. One of the better American examples of the style.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours a hazy light gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a ton of clove and bananas with sweet wheat underlying. Flavor has lots of sweet wheat and banana as well with a good dose of clove.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of earthy dark grains, light roasted malts and light smoke. Flavor has roasted malts and dark grains with a bit of earthiness and dryness underlying.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours a clear orangish gold with a white ehad that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of onion, grass and bitter citrus backed by light grains. Flavor has earthy grains, earthy grass with some bitter citrus and a bit of onion.

Sampled from the tap at Winterfest 2015. Pours a near clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass, hay and straw backed by a touch of sweetness. Flavor has lots of grain and straw notes with a bit of sweetness towards the finish.
