On tap at Monks House at Ale Repute, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out English bready malt and a touch of caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with English malt, subtle floral hops, and a touch of bready caramel. Clean and nicely balanced. Not bad.

6.5/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7
On tap at Monks House at Ale Repute, pours a cloudy dull orange with a tiny white head. Aroma is very sweet and barrel-heavy, with lots of bourbon barrels, dark fruits, and caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of caramel, heaps of bourbon, and dark fruits. Very sweet and totally inauthentic, but it's pleasant enough. Syrupy, bourbony finish. Not bad.

On tap at Monks House at Ale Repute, pours a cloudy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of smoked meat, light ash, and campfire. Flavour is along the same lines, with tons of smoked meat, light ash, and campfire. Intensely smoky, so you have to like the flavour, which I do. Solid.
