Keg @ Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. This beer was called Kolaboration and had its own Wapping Brewery pump clip that did mention it was a collaboration brew with Ad Hop. Clear light gold with a thin head. Has lots of strawberry sweetness in both aroma and taste with a sugarness that lingers in the palate.

Keg @ Clove Hitch / 23 Club, Liverpool. Black with a thin off-white head. Has a deep, heavy texture with the liquorice a very dominant character, and it lingers long in the palate just like it does if you’re eating it as a sweet or piece of candy. Has quite a sweet nose in this respect too. Strong tasting.

One-third pint, keg at The 23 Club. Jet black body. Lasting creamy, fawn-coloured head. Foamy lacing down the glass. Smell of liquorice and chocolate. Liquorice upfront to the taste buds added by ice cream and dark chocolate. Mid-dry, slightly roasted ending. Oily palate. Well bodied. Pleasant (Liverpool 31.01.2015).
