Description
We brouwden toen, jawel, in pannen. Gegarandeerd.

Sampled at Week van Het NL Bier 2017 @ Grote Kerk Den Haag. Hazy amber with white head. Sweet malts, fruity syruppy berry aroma, leathery. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, prickly soft carbonation. Quite alcoholic, otherwise chalky soft feel. Too alcoholic. --- Beer merged from original tick of Imperial Saison on 08 Jan 2018 at 14:37 - Score: 6

Tap @ In De Wildeman (as Davobieren Donker Tarwebock). Nice dark color. Dense beige head. Aroma’s: wheat, light roast, light vegetal. Retronasal it’s wheat-fruity, sweetish, light banana, light roasted malts. Flavor is moderate sweet with light (wheat-)fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Soft carbo. Drinks deceptively easy. Light bitterness in the finish. Pretty straightforward Weizenbock.

Bottle. Copper color. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruit, malt and caramel. Beer is oxidised, so taste has cardboard, but also some yeast, caramel, syrupy raisin and malt. Not very good.
