Two 4 oz pours on casks at ChurchKey. One cask dry-hopped with East Kent Goldings and one with Progress hops.

EKG Cask: Amber brown with light off-white ring. Some sediment. Aromas of dark fruit, malt, toast and biscuit. Tastes of dark fruit, malt, caramel, slightly tart notes. Light body with a dry finish. A bit strange with the tartness. 6/3/6/3/12

Progress Cask: Darker amber brown with the thinnest off-white ring. Aromas of biscuit, caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Tastes of biscuit, caramel, toffee, toasty notes, subtle dark fruit. Light body with a dry finish. This one seems to have held up better than the EKG cask. 7/3/7/3/14

Pour is a clear gold with a average white head. Aroma is dry bready malt. Flavor is much the same dry and biscuit. You can really get a taste of the maris otter. Finish is very clean with more of the dry breadyness left on the tongue. While not overly flavorful this will make you feel like you are smack dab in the middle of a English pub.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted notes with some chocolate. Flavor is a bigger chocolate with a nice roast and finishes a bit sweet. Decent brown ale here, almost boarding on a porter.
