Description
Founded in North San Diego County in 2010 by Daniel & Jon Love, and Kamron Khannakhjavani, what began as a hobby years earlier had formed into a business. Originally operating out of a 2200 sq. ft. industrial space, the business grew quickly thanks to thirsty patrons visiting the industrial, but homely, onsite tasting room and adjacent homebrew store. Brewhouse upgrades soon followed and in 2012, Mother Earth opened a large Tap House in the historic downtown Vista district. The relocation of the tap room allowed the company to expand its production spaces even further and over time additional square footage was added to nearly 28000 sq. ft. in total.
In 2015 the company began development of a new, state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. ft. production facility in Nampa, Idaho. Featuring a 40 bbl multi-vessel brewhouse, and the capacity to produce over 100K bbls/yr, “Mother Earth – Nampa” went on-line in August of 2016 and through continuous upgrades and expansion rapidly became the largest brewery in the state of Idaho. As Mother Earth's second regional headquarters, Nampa supports most of the company's growth and produces beer for all markets outside Southern California. The original Vista brewery continues to provide draft and specialty offerings to its home market of Socal as well as creating unique one-off brews for visitors at its retail operations in North County San Diego. Mother Earth remains family owned and operated and has become a standard of success within the industry.

0.355l can. Aroma of orange, vanilla, biscuit and mango. Pours clear golden color with thick creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet malty with citrusy and tropical notes, follows by vanilla, herbs and flowers, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Not sick of that creaminess, yet…

12 oz can from Total Wine, Las Vegas, NV. Pours a clear bronze color with a small khaki head and decent retention. Zero lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Caramel malt flavor with some bread in the finish. Decent flavor profile, but this can is a little past its prime. Kind of a flat body. Expired carbonation. Not bitter. Could be really good, but I'd love to try a fresh can.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear amber pour, thin cream colored head. Malty aroma with some scattered savory notes, maple. Taste is sweet and malty, cinnamon, maple. Vanilla is there, accenting the other adjuncts. Dries out a little at the finish, and the flavors recedes quickly for a short finish.

US Pint can from Trader Joe's, drank on 4th April 2025 while at Sarah Janes in California. Poured into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip it held a snow white head above a murky yellow body, very opaque. Big aroma of dank citrus fruits, taste also very citrus like in nature. Grapefruit leads the way nose and flavour wise with more sweeter fruits joining in, got better as it warmed in the glass.
