Anniversary Triple IPA. Big Mother has been our Anniversary Ale since inception so it is near and dear to our hearts. An ever changing recipe with each vintage, it’s still everything you expect from a IIIPA: Big, but not too boozy, massively hopped, and just enough malt character to balance the higher alcohol and lingering bitterness. A whirlpool and dry hop assault lends aromas and flavors of apricot, navel oranges, red grapefruit, and papaya. Availability - May/June. This product is Vegan.

Gracious, what an IPA, a mix of citrus, berry, honey, caramel, and a little wort, massive in scope but also in sweetness. Mineral hoppiness in the back end skews slightly cloy. Not bad, but much too much to finish a tallboy.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark golden color with an enormous fluffy yellow-white head that lingered forever and left excellent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet with pine, strong fruity & tropical hops and a bit of earthiness. Flavor was the same as the aroma with a boozy note that worked well. Long finish. Full body.

Can at Craft Islington share - big thanks to LKS. It pours clear deep gold with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, sweet, oily, apricot, peach, pineapple, candied fruits and honey. The taste is sweet, oily, bitter - sweet, earthy, tannin, wood, apricot, sticky peach, spice and some booze with a warming, chewy finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Rather old-school in this style bracket. Fair.

Can split at CBC Islington, thanks to Leighton, 25/06/18. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is caramel, grassy, Old skool leanings, bitter orange, toasted bread. Taste comprises grapefruit, orange pith, caramel malts, biscuit, grass, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with grassy hop bitterness. OK old skool leaning DIPA.
