Anniversary Triple IPA. Big Mother has been our Anniversary Ale since inception so it is near and dear to our hearts. An ever changing recipe with each vintage, it’s still everything you expect from a IIIPA: Big, but not too boozy, massively hopped, and just enough malt character to balance the higher alcohol and lingering bitterness. A whirlpool and dry hop assault lends aromas and flavors of apricot, navel oranges, red grapefruit, and papaya. Availability - May/June. This product is Vegan.

Can shared in London - cheers to Blipp. Pours clear gold with a slim, foamy white head. Old pine and orange peel in the nose. Medium sweet flavour with booze, oily pine, ripening citrus, aged citrus peel. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly resinous, crackery pale malts, more pine and orange peel. So so.

16 ounce can. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A big citrus nose. Very sweet, huge citrus, mango, bursting with flavor, mild bitterness. Much more balanced than most IIIPAs. Very smooth. Flavorful. Lovely.

On Tap at Growler Guys, Meridian Hazy deep golden orange fine lasting thin head and even coating of lacing. On the first sip, heavy thick almost chewey malt body. Tons of sharp up front puthy hops. Some light tropical fruit and then more big time resinous hopness. A very big beer, smooth and heavy.

Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. 10.5% Bright clear gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has good fine carbonation. Light malts with a nice light level of sweetness. Touch of hop skunk, really pretty mild. Cooling pine. Reasonable hop spice. Spicy citrus and a little marmalade. Trace of Nelson grape and light floralness. Light crisp finish. An impressively light and clean DIPA, it drinks very easy for it’s double digit abv. Just wanted more punch and complexity.

Grunt from Winco. Deep golden body, thick, creamy head. Hops overtake aroma and follows through in taste with some nice oily bitterness. Yes, dank comes to mind. Finishes with equal parts caramel malts and funky hops. Hard to believe it’s 10.5%.

65 cl bottle @ hotel room, San Diego. Aroma has caramel, gluey tones and tropical fruits. Flavour is heavy and sweet with caramel, reain, mild menthol tones and some caramel. Menthol gets stronger towards the end of the glass. A Big IPA on the sweet side.
