Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is fresh brewed coffee with some roasted nuts. Flavor is more cold brewed coffee and that's about it. Really thin mouthfeel but plenty of coffee. Decent coffee beer from a Missouri brewer and roaster.

12 oz. bottle shared by tfontana, thanks for the new brewery! Aroma is indeed pine and floral type hops. Flavor is that have a classic West Coast-ish IPA. Plenty of pine and toffee. The surprising thing is it’s not overly bitterness. Better then expected.

Can pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. Appearance is cloudy orange-light brown with no discernible sparkle, thin cap of khaki head with decent retention and mild leggy lacing. Aroma is strong pine over malty base (kind of reminds me of a black IPA). Taste follows aroma--strong pine flavor (without particular bitterness) balanced with a bready, caramel backdrop. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with velvety smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I'm a self-professed black IPA fan so even if IPA lover's think this is either too malty or not bitter enough, this hits a sweet spot for me. Love the pine flavor without the bitterness.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is a bready cracker malt with a slight grassy hop. Flavor is again a real clean and crisp dry bready malt. Slight sulfur notes come out after the swallow. This is a darn near perfect pils.

Taster pour on tap at Tapped, Maplewood, MO. Appearance is dark brown--almost opaque black--with no discernible sparkle, finger-width light brown head with good retention and mild lacing. Aroma is mild roasted malts. Taste is moderately strong roasted malts, earthy bitterness. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty straightforward without a lot of complexity but good.
