Fles gekregen van Keukenman, geprobeerd met familie tijdens het kerstdiner. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier. Het heeft een aroma van Bourbon. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, vijgen, rozijnen en Bourbon.

Ein Bier, das mich wirklich schwer enttäuscht hat 😭.
Trotz fast 10€ Einkaufspreis und kühler Lagerung war es alt. Es hatte kaum feine grasige und strohige Aromen, sondern war einfach nur sauer 🍋 und muffig 🧟♂️, weshalb es im Zug-Klo 🚅 verschwand.
Möglicherweise viel Gedchmack, aber so ist es einfach nur schade 😰.

Zwarte kleur en een fijne bruine kraag met een laaje retentie. Geur is eerst flink umami, dan boozy, geroosterd/gebrand, zoetig, vanille. Retronasaal is er boozy/fruitige alcohol, zoetig. Smaak is behoorlijk zoet, iets geroosterd bitterig, iets umami. Dikke body, stroperig zelfs. Warmende alcohol. Lange afdronk.

Draft at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasty, big boozy alcohol. The flavour is roasty, peaty, liquorice, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

CBJ Tasting. Hazy-opaque gold. Can. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma has light fruit with a dry edge (somehow). Flavourwise it has dry but sweet stone fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hmmm.
