Opaque colour and tiny brownish head. Cocoa, bourbon, toasted malts in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweet, cocoa, bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon. Heavy, fresh.
Smooth, creamy and slightly lactic with some cinnamon, spices, roastiness, hints of vanilla, chili and barrel notes. Soft and sweet, a bit too much lactose once again. Not bad, but I still prefer the drier 2018 vintage

On tap at the brewery. Home from SF with my daughter visiting my parents and saw this in the menu. Get to bring a bottle home as well. So well blended and beautiful. The chilli has receded nicely to blend with the chocolate, vanilla, and whiskey aspects. Wonderful all around.
