Tap at Sidedoor. Pitch black body, opaque. Steady beige head Massive coffee aroma. A really well done coffee stout. Rich, sugary, full bodied. The coffee is really in your face. Massive molasses, vanilla, brown chocolate. Thick dessert beer, Southern Tier reminiscent. Very tasty.

Sample at the brewpub. Cloudy brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, hops and caramel. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and dark fruit. The finish is malty up front with a mild resiny hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Light body with flavors of herbal hops, bready malt and a touch of citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Dark reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, toffee and slight hops. Light to medium body with flavors of biscuit malt, caramel and hops. The finish is sweet malt up front with a mild hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a thin dense tan head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoked malt, coffee and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of charred malt, dark chocolate and coffee. The finish is mildly smoky with a burnt malt aftertaste. Not sure if it is a reference to the Kavinsky song, but an above average beer overall.

Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, toasted malt and pine. The finish is fruity with a pineapple and hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
