Tap at Karben4. Minty chocolate feel. Mild, mellow carbonation. A well done Black IPA, fairly standard in a way. Caramel and chocolate malts shine. Enjoyable, but middle of the road.

Tap at Mickeys. Hazy orange tan body, steady creamy off-white head. Quite an excellent beer, bolder and deeper than most WI IPAs by a long shot. Big citra flavor, challenging and enjoyable. Very modern IPA, well done.

Growler shared by Brian. Opaque black with a thin, oily beige head. Roasty chocolate aroma. Medium to full bodied, oily specialty malts in the mouthfeel. A solid offering, not overboard with the smoke, but it is certainly present.

Growler shared by Brian. Deep brown-burgundy..very dark for the style. Smooth and malty, cherry amber malt and chocolate notes. Really nice malt depth. Clean, fresh, well executed.
