Draft at Cobbler Mountain Cellars. Poured a clear pale red color with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma was super cherry. Not to be gross, but this reminded me abit of the cherry you get from NyQuil. The problem is I love that particular cherry taste, so I really appreciated it. Of course, my mom thinks that Dr. Pepper tastes like Robitussin... so your mileage may vary.

Draft at Cobbler Mountain Cellars. Poured a clear, bubbly yellow color with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma was crisp apples. Light apples. Flavor was champagne, light sweet with a dry, crisp apple character. Quite good.

$3.99 bottle from Total Wine, Gainesville VA. Pours pale gold, white head quickly disappears. Lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is fresh apple, dust. Flavor is semi-sweet apple, light funk. Really nice, actually.

Tang nose. Clear yellow, effervescent. Flintstone vitamins. Light body, moderate carbonation. Quite artificial tasting, but I dig it.

$3.25 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pale gold, lots of carbonation. Lighter aroma of apple, honey. Not unpleasant like I find come ciders to be. Flavor is bittersweet apple, honey, without being cloyingly sweet. Juicy and solid. Good carbonation.

$3.85 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Tart, strange aroma. Smells somewhat soapy, somewhat spicy. Flavor is ginger, apple, cranberry, spice. Has a winter holiday feel. Might be good warmed. Carbonation on this is nice.

$3.25 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Mine says 6.8%. Pours golden with a small white head. Immediate aroma of candied blueberry. Up close, in addition to blueberry, is wet dog and apple. Flavor is blueberry on top of sweet apple. Some what candied... maybe more than somewhat. On the sweet side, for sure. This is for the masses.
