Clear golden coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, light resin and a touch of pine with some nuttier and more pungent malt notes. Medium-bodied; Assertive nutty and earth malt flavours with some good resin, caramelised sugar and deep fruity flavours at first showing some pale hop flavours near the back, but nothing too assertive or pungent. Aftertaste shows a good blend of malt and hops - for an APA - but this is fairly mild and subdued for an IPA, for sure. Overall, a decently finished and well balanced beer with some pungent flavours, but this finishes far less bitter and assertive than I’d expect - a decent beer to try, but nothing great. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Super Market Liqours in Fort Collins, Colorado on 14-March-2016 for US$1,75 sampled at home in Washington on 05-December-2016.

Hazy yellow, smooth offwhite head. lots of bitter hops in the aroma, good malts and some caramelly notes too. bitter hops and malts dominate. dry. fattish. Flavor is flowery hoppy and sweet malty but never gets anywhere close sweet and cloying, a bit old but i for sure would like to try a fresh one.

12 oz can poured. Purchased at Molly’s in Denver. Pours a bright, clear orange color with a lasting fizz head. Very nice orange fruit, citrus forward hop aroma. Very nice balanced flavor, minimum sweetness, juicy citrus throughout. Above average IPA for sure. Very tasty stuff.

Draft. Hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of floral citrus on a biscuit background. Taste has huge grapefruit and tropical fruit, light spice. Decent.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/21/2015. Brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing. Roasted coffee and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character, with a touch of bittersweet chocolate. The finish is mildly bitter with a black coffee aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Tap @ Bootstrap. Pours a dark reddish brown appearance with a tan head. Chocolate, mild chili pepper, light coffee aroma. Chewy, roasty chocolate malty, moderately spicy chili pepper, mild black coffee flavor. Pretty tasty.
