Bottle. Malty aroma, hint of aroma hops. Pale yellow colour, small stable white head. The flavour is quite malty, perhaps a bit watery. Medium bitterness.

(swing top bottle) Clear, yellow colour with a medium-sized frothy white head. Citrusy lemonade aroma with a shy malty background. Sweet flavour, light body, lively carbonation. Initially citrus fruity, slightly grainy; ends moderately sweet and artificial, light-grainy. I have definitely no need for this one.

(swing top bottle) Hazy orange colour with a big but not very persistent off-white foamy head. Light-sweet and slightly wheaty aroma with sour and fruity (apricot, banana) notes. Moderately sweet malty, not pronounced wheaty taste with a sour-fruity touch, light to medium bodied, rather smooth carbonation for a Hefeweizen; fruity finish with light noters of cloves. Fairly average.

Bottle - thanks to Sebastian Deep, black body. Quite clear, but hard to find out, because it’s almost black. Lightly brown (caramel), frothy head. Lightly malt aroma with a few hints of liquor. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet in the beginning, moerately bitter in the end. Somewhat spicy, but a little bit watey aswell.

Das Bier riecht angenehm süß und nach Malz, der Geschmack allerdings ist nicht so gut. Malzig ja, aber recht plumb. Noch leicht herb im Mittelteil, im Abgang dagegen schon fast sauer. Ich habe mehr erwartet. Test vom 11.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,8,6,12,7 - 7,60

Swing-top bottle: Pale golden coloured with a small, lacing white head; fruity citrousy nose, a bit grainy; extremely mild sweetish flavour, watery, empty MF; short, nearly non existant aftertaste, a bit more bitter than spring water. For those, who are afraid of taste.......

Bottle: Almost schwarz, fluffy, but quite stable beige to brownish head; dry (dark-)malty nose with a touch of coffee, roast malt and molasses; dry, slightly bitter flavour, pretty light bodied; longer dry finish with a chocolatey or coffeeish bitterness. A decent, well made Schwarzbier.........

Bottle: Clear, pale golden coloured, mid-sized white head, sticking to the glass; faint malty nose, traces of cardboard, a metallic touch, too; slightly sweetish, malty flavour, a bit sticky mouthfeel; faint sweetish malty, again, finish with a metallic tinge; rather light bodied. Neither anything special for cold winter evenings nor a "Traum" (dream)................

(swing top bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Dusty and light-sweet grainy nose with a grassy hoppy background. Initially moderately sweet malty, grainy, light to medium body, light bitter finish with an unpleasant skunky note of rotten vegetables.
