Description

(swing top bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a foamy white medium head. Dusty and light-sweet grainy nose with a grassy hoppy background. Initially moderately sweet malty, grainy, light to medium body, light bitter finish with an unpleasant skunky note of rotten vegetables.

Pale gold, whitish head, disappearing fast. Grainy, dry nose, fresh Pilsener malt. Ugh - sweet, malty Pilsener, truckloads of restsweetness. Watery texture with unwelcome sugar slickness. Terribly disappointing beer, oversweet Pilsener, yuk.

Pale yellow color, decent white creamy head. Mild lemony grassy nose. Light, grassy, easy to drink. Hoppy aftertaste. Plain but no big faults, just quite bulk feeling here. But from where that winter comes?

(bottle) Almost black colour with a foamy and bubbling beige medium head. Toastmalty and herbal hoppy aroma with a shy hint of caramel. Bitter flavour, medium body, moderate carbonation. Lightly roasted malty taste, dry and bitter from the beginning to the end, also slightly hoppy with a touch of liquorice and still quenching. Not very complex but a good and tasty Schwarzbier.

Very dark ruby, almost opaque color, small brownish head. Lemony hoppy nose. Roasted, a bit metallic mouthfeel. Long metallic aftertaste.

(swing top bottle) Pale yellow colour with a lasting foamy white medium head. Nice aroma of floral hops, but rather thin taste of malts and hops with a floral touch in the dry finish, quite unpleasant carbonated.

An unclear brown beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet wheaty, with light banana notes. The flavor is sweet wheaty, but it also contains notes of oranges and hints of banana, on a weird sour background - the sourness not coming from the wheat.

Huge head of all equal-sized bubbles, subsides after a while, leaving a column in the middle. Pale yellow body, where carbonation keeps on for a long time. Fine, thin aroma, with strong hop notes. (Girlfriend claims it smells like white wine.) Taste is very light, with a lovely hop finish, which is dry, malty, and rounded. Once white wine has been mentioned it’s hard not to taste white wine in it. Very good for a pilsener, mostly because of the hops. (0.5l bottle in Leikeim glasses.)

A light yellow beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of brewmash, while the flavor is plainly sweet malty. Boring, though nothing wrong.

(Bottle 50 cl) Black indeed, no light will shine through this, with a huge, beige head. Very, very dry with some ashy, burned notes and a long, bitter aftertaste. Not my favourite in the style. 161100
