Bottle. Pours black with off white head. Nose of dank resin/pine, citrus, wet grass and roast chocolate malt. Taste is same but less pronounced. Body is a little lacking. Still tasty. Lighter bodied.

Bottle. Pours caramel brown with off white head. Nose and taste of banana, clove, sour wheat malt and lightly toasted caramel malt. Lighter bodied with a banana taffy finish. Lighter bodied.

Bottle from Demonic mixed six pack. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose is fake drugstore chocolate and malt. Taste is the same with some burnt barley in finish. Light to medium body. Simple. Drinkable.

Thanks Chris for the bottle. He let me know it’s an infected batch. Oh well. I like sours, right? Pours a dark black with a 3 finger off-white head. Nice lacing but fades instantly. Smells of cherries, burnt cough syrup and toejam. Hint of pumpkin. Taste is whoa. Very smokey followed by a soured infection..but not tart or sour in a good way. Finish is nutmeg, cloves and more smoke.

Dark with a creamy tan head. Aroma is smoke, sweet molasses, roasted malts. Medium bodied. Flavor is much the same with some chocolate thrown in to really liven it up. Straight forward smoked porter but very well done.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking.The beer is a cloudy brown color with a medium tan head and sparse lacing. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, sweet chocolate and a touch of sweet spice. The finish is sweet and malt. Falls short as a "Pumpkin Porter" but otherwise decent.

12 oz. bottle. Excellent eye appeal. Deep brown with ½ inch thick fluffy foamy head. Good retention. Aromas of roasted malt and baker’s chocolate. Taste is very much a standard porter. Roasted malt, chocolate with a hint of smoke in the backend. Nothing wrong with the flavor except for the fact that I can’t find a hint of pumpkin, spice or fall flavor in it. Am I missing something here? Must be totally different on draft. Not bad in anyway just not as advertised.

12 oz. bottle from Beer Haven. Lager glass shows a deep brown with thinner off white head that had decent retention. Nose shows lots of Earthy malt and mild spice. Taste is like a malty, mildly sour brown ale. Date on the six pack says 26 Aug 2012 it was packaged. So it’s not old. I’m trying to figure out where the brewers are going with this. This is really unbalanced.

12 oz. bottle from Beer Haven. Clear yellow color with active carbonation. Nose is yeast and a light spice. Taste is thin with clove; pale malt and a light spice that I would like to call cinnamon. Has a light tanginess. Mouthfeel is effervescent. Ok.

On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a cloudy brown color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of spicy pumpkin and other spices. Smooth light roast, toffee, bug spicy flavor with distinct cinnamon and pumpkin. Good.
