12oz bottle from the brewery pours a dark gold, on the verge of orange, with some sticky, lacing white head. Nose has yeast, a little honey, soap, a little fruit. Flavor has some chewy biscuits and grains, lemon, a little perfume, some soap, some pepper. Finishes peppery, a little slick too.

Pours a murky brown with some ringing tan head. Nose is solid and aromatic, nutty coffee, some brown sugar, bread crust, Folgers. Flavor has some cream soda, a little vanilla bean, brown sugar, coffee with cream, light nougat. Full bodied and lightly sweet on the finish. Nice.
