Cochon Butcher, NOLA bottle: pours a kind of murked yellow with small white head that leaves no lace. Aroma is flowers grass and that typical lager smell. Taste is lightly bitter with a hint of sweetness. Easy drinking and refreshing with some crispness.

Draft - Sweet caramel and pine. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Lots of pine and resin up front, with a hit of bitterness that finishes resinous and a bit grainy. Overal pretty poor, with a chalky resinous taste throughout.

Pale and slightly hazy in the glass. The nose is fresh strawberries. The beer starts smooth, mild, slightly yeasty. In the mainpart there is a subtle strawberry-flavour, that gets more intense till the end, and that is natural and not too sweet. Very smooth. The aftertaste is a bit short, but nice smooth, creamy (like the cream-ale) and with nice natural strawberry aroma.

On tap @Bamboula’s. Pours a deep reddish brown appearance with a foamy brown head. Burnt caramelized sugar, tangerine, toast in the nose. Fairly bitter. Moderately sweet. Kind of goopy mouth feel. A lot of lingering bitterness. OK I spose.
