Nice aroma of cooling evergreens and grapefruit peel. Lasting thick foam, perfect lacing on the glass. Flavor matches the aroma, intense hop flavor and moderate bitterness with a hint of sweet malt underneath. Leaves a tingly mild bitterness as the aftertaste.

Deep brown color with typical sweet, alcohol barleywine aroma. Taste is sweet and boozy, fermented dark fruit, spiciness, with an alcohol burn finish. Great example of the style enhanced by the bourbon barrel aging.

From tap at the Avenue Pub, New Orleans. Aroma is juicy indeed, very fruity with lots of orange, more citrus, tangerine, mango, pineapple. Flavour is mildly sweet with a decent medium bitterness. Body is medium. A pretty lovely juicy IPA with a hint of dank hops.

Can from Craft Beer Cellar, New Orleans. Aroma is caramel, strong peanut butter, biscuit, soft roasted malt, milk chocolate. These guys literally put a liquid Lion bar in a can. Flavour is sweet with a light roasty bitterness. Body is above medium with a creamy feel. From the school of pastry beer artificiality, but I can't help but really dig this (I've always had a thing for Lions).

On tap at Emeril’s Table MSY. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has musty citrus and some sweet grains with a bit of tropical fruit coming through. Flavor has mango and slightly dank citrus with sweet grains and a hint of cookie underlying.
