Growler courtesy of weihenweizen, 5/23/14. Pours a clear copper color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus, earthy, dank hops, mild minty notes, faint malts. The taste is bitter citrus, resin, pine and dank hops and mild pale malt. Thin bodied, strong lingering bitterness.

Light hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is light pine hop, medium body, medium carbonation, and medium big bubble lacing. Taste is crisp hops, floral hops, and light grapefruit finish.

Draft at the source, highly recommended by Don the Regular, thank you sir. Clear dark maroon brown color, beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of cocoa, subtle coffee. Taste is sweet milk chocolate, coffee grounds. Probably my favorite of the night.

Draft sample at Black Sheep. Light orange with very little head. Aroma is herbal hops, little carbonation, medium body, and very little lacing. Taste is light herbal hops, grain, and bitter finish. Not like the other English IPAs I have had, but definitely not as hoppy as the American counterparts.

Draft sample at Black Sheep. Translucent purple with small white head. Aroma is blackberry, medium body, low carbonation, and little small bubble lacing. Taste is malty and slightly rich blackberry. Not bad for me, but not up to snuff for my wife (of course she only likes some of the News Glarus fruit beers).
