On tap at Black Sheep Burrito and Brews Charleston. Pours black with dark brown highlights and small light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is chocolate and some milk. Not as sweet as some milk stout, but still pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with dark brown highlights and big light brown head. Aroma is roasty/smokey, medium body, medium carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste is burnt malt, roasty, some smoke, hints of coffee, herbal hops, bitter hops, and dry finish. Reminiscent of a dry Irish stout with some smoke.

Almost forgot one from Charleston. Reviewed from notes. Consumed May 29, 2013 as I was driving through West Virginia. The appearance has a clear golden /amber body with a film of a white head, light lacing is left in the wake of the rise and fall of the head. The smell is slight malty, slightly hoppy, slightly spicy and slightly sweet. The taste is bittersweet through all previously mentioned flavors, sweet aftertaste and finish. The palate is light, sessionable, carbonation is spot on for the style and for me. Overall, I say basically good for the style and for me

The appearance is a dark creamy yellow body, one finger white foamy head that quickly dies, light lacing clings to the sides of the glass; the aroma has a light yeastiness that settles in with some coriander with a peppery sort of slightly lemon in the background; the taste is sweet and yeasty; its got a yeasty aftertaste and an earthy dry finish; its pretty easy on the palate, carbonation is spot on for the style and for me; overall, this is a good witbier that I might actually come back to if given the opportunity

Half pint on tap at the brewpub. Pours translucent crimson red with medium beige head. Herbal hop aroma, medium body, medium/low carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste is nice caramel malt with nice balancing herbal hops. Nice for a hoppy beer.
