Tap at Lokaal Duinoord. Very murky milky greyish-brown with no head. Looks like mud. Lots of cranberry, soft toffee, milk chocolate, light sweet caramel. Lots of cranberries in here! Medium sharp sour which lingers for a long time with soft tannic bitterness and underlying medium sweetness throughout. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Quite a nice beer but it really doesn’t look very good.

Tap at Lokaal Duinoord 4-year Anniversary. Murky poopy brown mud. With brown poopy head. Sweet fruity cranberry notes drowning in muddy milk chocolate base, which then turns sour and woody. Moderate sweet and bitter, then sour. Medium body, soft carbonation. Milk chocolate like mouthfeel. Just a very weird clash of styles; the soft muddiness with sour touch, red fruity chocolate brown beer. Fun and weird stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cranberry Stout on 24 Jun 2017 at 21:37 - Score: 7

Bottle shared at THT. Slight hazy light amber with fizzy light beige head. Apricot, light red berries, sherry, sweet malts, caramel, light funk, hint of yoghurt. Quite fruity and malty with soft funk and sour bacteria. Medium sweet and sour with light bitterness. Over medium bodied with soft bubbly carbonation. Well done.

Bottle shared at home. Hazy amber with enthusiastic fluffy cream head. Bottle keeps gushing even though it’s almost half done. Sweet caramel malts with a high sour grain note. Some milkiness, apricot, caramel, grapefruit, heavy yoghurty yeast, light coriander. Moderate sweet and sour, light almond bitter. Medium body, lot of carbonation, fruitjuice texture. Strange beer. Saison, gueuze, New England IPA blend. Feels very juicy and nice fruity sourness. Very hoppy, with chuncks of hop looking like weedcrumbs in the beer.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Gusher! Hazy amber with some floaters and big off white head. Sour berries and apricot, light caramel, fruity and citrussy hops, light mineral. Light sweet and bitter and over medium sour. Just medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. After I drank a small glass from the first pour there’s a thick layer of grey stuff on the bottom of the glass. Not sure if it’s supposed to be this way but it’s certainly not bad, just looks like it.

Bottle, shared at THT, Brouwerij Kwartje, May 2017, thanks Maakun. Dark brown color. No head. Aroma’s of poop, light sweet, a bit funky, woody. Retronasal it’s wood, sourish, sweetish, (sour) fruit (cherry?). Flavor is moderate sour, woody, cherries, light sweet. Rather strong alcohol feel? Full bodied. Lomg finish, with no new flavors. Actually pretty good.
