Description
What could bring together a firefighter, sales rep, engineer, lawyer, and entrepreneur? In our case, it was beer. Our story began in a home kitchen where we started to learn the craft by brewing our first batch on the stove. We were instantly hooked on our new hobby - and the taste of our new product - so we decided to move operations to a larger space to brew bigger batches: a two-car garage. At the time, we had no bigger ambitions for our beer than to hang out with each other and enjoy what we brewed. But the beer was too good. At the encouragement of friends and fellow home brewers, we decided to turn our passion project into a bona fide business.
Our passion for creating grew beer continues in our current Taproom and brewery, a 20,000 square foot space with a 30 bbl brewhouse and cellar.

Plastic quart growler from The Liquor Store in Huntsville. The cashier said that the keg had been on for at least two months, so this is probably past prime, but whatever. Pours a clear, brown color, with a small, tan head. The aroma is cloves, licorice, pine, pecans, and resin. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, sticky mouthfeel. This is a dank and interesting IPA. Fun.

Can pour into shaker pint glass. Appearance is hazy honey brown, light sparkle, finger-width fizzy off-white head with decent retention and no lacing. Aroma is lemon-citrus, candied sugar, mild earthy resin and malt backbone. Taste is moderate candied sugar balanced (competing?) with citrus and earthy resin, mild caramel. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and more sweet than bitter finish. Overall, not oppressively bitter to be sure but not juicy sweet like a NEIPA. Kind of blazing its own trail, which is nice, but it only works OK.

Poured From a 12 oz can it is a cloudy light gold color with a slight head. The aroma is Welch’s grape juice and the taste carries through with that brand of grape juice and then goes quite bitter
